In our confectionary kitchen we make traditional Argentinean Alfajores and Dulce de Leche products. As artisans, we bake and pack every Alfajor by hand, and with great care. We make them always in small batches using only premium and local ingredients. Our Alfajores are based on the genuine Argentinean tradition and built with the technique, artistry and precision of the classic French confection.

At Dulce Caramel Co., we strive to deliver a true balance of flavors, textures and presentation in every Alfajor we make, resulting on a uniquely delicious treat.

What is Alfajor?

Delicate, melt in your mouth confection, circular in shape, composed of two thin buttery sablé (shortbread like) cookies with a smooth yet rich Dulce de Leche or fruit spread interior. Alfajores are often enrobed in a thin, perfectly tempered shell of real couverture chocolate, either bittersweet or white, or alternatively in sugar icing or meringue.

 What is Dulce de Leche?

Dulce de Leche is a confection obtained from the skillful combination of milk, sugar, pure Madagascar vanilla and a touch of sea salt, heated and stirred for several hours on an artisan’s copper pot, until the proper consistency is reached,  leaving us with a rich and smooth caramel-like spread.
